Nobody leaves Webflow because the output looks bad. People leave because of the bill and the plumbing. A Webflow site plan runs roughly $14 a month for Basic and about $23 for CMS when billed yearly, which is around ₹1,200 to ₹1,950 at October 2026 rates, charged in US dollars with no GST invoice and a foreign-transaction fee on an Indian card. Add workspace seats for an agency or a second site and the total climbs quickly. For a Chandigarh architecture studio or a Bengaluru SaaS startup that is manageable; for a dental clinic in Nagpur it is hard to justify.
Then there is selling. Webflow Ecommerce leans on Stripe and PayPal, so UPI, cash on delivery and GST-compliant invoices for Indian customers need workarounds or third-party embeds. And the learning curve is real: the Designer thinks in boxes, classes and flex properties, which is wonderful for a designer and alienating for an owner who just wants to change the phone number on the contact page without breaking the layout.
The alternatives below are ranked for an Indian business that wants rupee billing, GST invoices, Indian gateways and a tool the owner can operate. One honest caveat up front: nothing on this list matches Webflow's combination of visual control and clean exportable code. If that control is the point of your site, keep Webflow and solve the billing problem some other way. Neweb is on the list where we think it fits, which is not at the top for designers.
